New Faculty Recruitment
In order to expand significantly its research program in infectious diseases, UGA is recruiting to fill seven tenure track or tenured faculty positions.
The University seeks to build upon existing strengths by recruiting faculty in the following areas:
- Molecular mechanisms of pathogenesis of emerging and re-emerging infectious agents
in human and veterinary health - Host immune responses and vaccine development
- Host / pathogen metabolomics
- Evolution, adaptation, and host range in emerging infectious diseases
- Infectious diseases of the respiratory tract
- Food- and water-borne diseases
- Ecological and anthropogenic aspects of infectious diseases
- Public Health: epidemiology and health policy
